The College of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) has withdrawn all services, including meetings, ceremonies, and campus services, in response to the Controller and Accountant General’s Department’s decision not to pay or validate their July salaries.
This decision was taken during an emergency meeting held this morning, where members expressed their outrage and frustration over the non-payment of salaries. According to A1 Radio, the President of CETAG stated that members have been suffering from poor terms of service since 2021, and the non-payment of salaries is unfair.
The withdrawal of services will continue until further notice, as CETAG demands a prompt resolution to this matter and fair treatment for its members.”
